Our new HONI Classic and Colorado Logo'd T's consist of a tribute-blend (Recycled Polyester, Organic Cotton, and Modal), which makes our shirts incredibly soft, durable and more sustainable for the environment.
RECYCLED POLYESTER: The U.S. throws away $29B plastic bottles per year. Each plastic bottle that is used encompasses the same chemical make up as polyester. Due to this fact, each plastic bottle can be cleaned and transformed into polyester yarn. Each HONI T and Tank that you purchase helps us recycle and re-use three plastic water bottles per shirt and keeps them out of landfills. ORGANIC COTTON: HONI uses organic, non-GMO cotton and conventional cotton grown in the U.S. where regulations on pesticides are more established. We have also been able to reduce the cotton content of our trip-blend shirt to 25% of the overall shirt content. MODAL: Modal is the secret sauce to the luxurious softness of our HONI trial-blend T's and Tanks. Modal is an evolved form of Rayon and is made from sustainably harvested beech trees. SUSTAINABLE MANUFACTURING: All of our shirts use raw materials, except Model, that are sourced right here in the U.S. Our shirts are sewn in Haiti in partnership with Global Orphan Project (G.O.P.) for a living wage paid to the workers. G.O.P. pays Haitian workers 5x the living rate for similar jobs in the country. All of their profits go to support similar projects that seek to eliminate poverty with in the poorest countries. Many thanks, to the owners of Bear Creek for blessing us with being able to use their distillery for this awesome event of live music, amazing drinks, and great people. We were able to spend quality time with many of our followers, as well as meet a lot of new customers who love our quality and cause of giving 10% of our profits children's ministries globally. We had a live acoustic band playing Christmas Carols, while attendees got to interact with our product and provide us valuable feedback. At the core of the event was special fundraising, which we dedicated 10% of our sales at the distillery to support Haitian Orphans through YES! (Yeshaitainteens.com). We would like to thank all of our customers for their purchases and positive feedback on our brand. As you know, we were originally inspired by Love and Faith, and together, HONI Apparel®️ will change the world "One Child at a Time!" The HONI Crew loves the Christmas Season, especially in the "Spirit of Giving" to others that are in need. We believe because God gave so much to us, we should give to others generously. During this time together, we assembled gift boxes for Operation Christmas Child, which are given to children that are less fortunate around the world. We loved being able to gather as a family to bring love and joy to others! This year as a company, we were able to fill 29 shoe boxes, which was a tremendous blessing!
